The executive governor of Akwa Ibom state, His Excellency Udom G. Emmanuel
The Akwa Ibom state governor, Mr Udom Emmanuel has congratulated the super Eagles of Nigeria for being on top of the game.
The governor said on his Facebook page that all we need is to send out best eleven players from all part of the country to play as a team and win together as a nation.
According to him "the Super Eagles of Nigeria have once again proven that we can win together as a nation.
"All we need is to put forward our best eleven, play as a team, make the right substitutions, score goals and celebrate together.
Congratulations to our boys for an excellent outing in the group stage at AFCON. More wins till we lift the trophy!

This is our time, it's good that tribalism is not playing out this time around courtesy of the progress minded team management whose goal is to lift the trophy and raise the integrity of the nation, together we can make it.
